Before the classes starts in public schools, the team went again to Capul Island Northern Samar last May 29-June 2,2018 for our school supplies distribution and free medical and dental mission. After 18 hours of travel the team arrived at Capul Island on the 30th day of May and started its scheduled mission which is the school supplies distribution to all the students of Landusan Elementary School, ( for three consecutive years as recipient ) in Brgy. Landusan Capul Island.
The students, parents and faculty members as well were all excited to see the team, they prepared a short program as the team arrived. It started with singing the Philippine National anthem, prayer led by one of the teachers, and a welcome message from its Brgy. Captain Hon. Santos Domingo, and also words of acceptance from Ms. Anecita Marzol, School District Supervisor Capul District.
The students and the parents as well were all excited and lined up to received their school supplies.
They can’t hide the excitement and happiness in their faces as they opened their bag of school supplies.
After the distribution of supplies, Plaques of Appreciation were given to the Foundation, Mr. Dan delos Reyes – JD Pamana Foundation President, Victory Christian Church, and Pastor Ronelo Fulgado – Victory Christian Church Senior Pastor received by our VCC volunteers.
Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Ms. Anecita Marzol as representative of Department of Education Region VIII and Mr. Ramir Castillo, School Head of Landusan Elementary School.
Landusan Elementary School faculty members, students and parents were all thankful to JD PAMANA FOUNDATION and VICTORY CHRISTIAN CHURCH for our invaluable support and contribution to the general welfare of all their students. To GOD be all the Glory.

On the following day, 31st of May,2018 the team went to Sagaosawan Elementary School, Brgy. Sagaosawan, also one of the Barangay in Capul Island, to distribute school supplies to all its students ( as the second school recipient of school supplies ). Last year the team visited this school and shared some words of God to all the students and teachers as well, and also checked their way of living. That is why this year the team went again here to extend help by simply giving one year school supplies to all the students which is a big help for their parents.
The students were excited to see their new school supplies.
The Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Ms.Luela Magdaraog, School Head of Sagaosawan Elementary School. and Ms. Anecita Marzol of Department of Education Region VIII.

After the distribution of school supplies in Sagaosawan Elementary School, the team went back to Victory Christian Church Linungsuran in Brgy. Sawang Capul Island, also to distribute school supplies to all the students who are members of this church. More than 80 students were the recipient of school supplies for both Elementary and High School students. All the students of Sawang Daycare Center were also beneficiaries of school supplies.
A short prayer was led by Pastor Dante Andarino of Victory Christian Church before the distribution of school supplies started.
They also received some clothes, shoes, books and toys for the children.
To God be all the Glory for using JD Pamana Foundation and Victory Christian Church as an instrument to reached out the residents in the remote areas like Capul Island. Praise God for the lives of each volunteers and members who made this yearly mission possible.

On the third day, June 1,2018, the free Medical and Dental Mission was held in Brgy. Hall of Brgy. Sagaosawan. It is a whole day event started at 8:00 in the morning. Some of the residents were already waiting in the venue as early as 7:30AM. Volunteer Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacist, Midwives, Nurses from Rural Health Unit, Local Government Unit, Brgy. Health Workers, helped the team in this mission, also some Brgy.Officials were present in the event to give help in any simple ways that they can.
Medical patients served were 167,
and Dental patients served were 66 for a total of 233 patients.
Capul Island is a 5th class municipality experiencing delayed delivery of medicines from department of Health as well as in Local Government Unit that is why the Foundation also gave free medicines ( multivitamins, first aid medicines/ antibiotics and others ) to Capul District Hospital, Municipal Health Office, Rural Health Unit – Sagaosawan Health Station , Rural Health Unit – Sawang Health Station, Department of Education Capul District to be use by their patients/residents coming to their facilities for medical check up/assistance.
