The first free medical and dental mission for this year was held last March 29,2019 at Barangay Matataja, Mulanay Quezon Province.The Municipality of Mulanay is an agricultural as well as an industrial town under the 3rd District of Quezon Province. From its rich soil, farm crops like coconut,bananas,rice,corn,squash,and other vegetable are abundantly harvested.
The event was held in Matataja Elementary School. Registration started as early as 7:00 in the morning. While the team were still preparing for the event, some of the residents were already waiting for early registration.
In partnership with Victory Christian Church, volunteers from the church, dentists and doctors as well were all glad to serve the residents of Barangay Matataja as part of our mission to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
198 patients were served in their medical needs for the whole day event.
57 patients were served with their dental needs and 15 patients had their blood sugar test.
All patients were also given their prescribed medicines and vitamins for free.
As part of this mission to glorify our Lord, all patients were given not only their medical and dental needs, but also their spiritual needs.All patients were given spiritual counseling and prayers led by our church Pastors and volunteers.
A feeding program was also prepared by the team during the mission for the residents specially the patients of Barangay Matataja.
The Foundation also donated some medicines and vitamins in their Barangay Health Center for the residents of Barangay Matataja.
A total of 270 residents of Barangay Matataja were served in their medical and dental needs for this one day event. All Glory be to God for this another successful mission for the Lord.
