After the successful school supplies giving for both Sawang and Landusan Elementary School, Capul Island Northern Samar, a Medical and Dental mission was also held at Landusan Elementary School last June 8,2017.
The team arrived at Landusan Elementary School around 7:30 in the morning and started to prepare the venue with the help of the volunteers led by their Brgy. Captain Hon.Santos Domingo.
While preparing the venue the residents already lined up to register at registration area.
There were 11 volunteer nurses and 5 midwives during the event who helped the team to assist the patients.
JD Pamana Foundation in partnership with Victory Christian Church provided not only Medical and Dental services but also spiritual counseling that is why while the patients are waiting , the Pastors and volunteers from Victory Christian Church gives counseling , shares words of God and pray for them.
While the patients are waiting for the doctors, a program was led by Pastor Dante Andarino of Victory Christian Church.
Started with opening prayer led by Pastor Ronel Fulgado, Sing worship songs led by Pastor Diogenes Gulben, a short message from Ms. Jennilyn Asor of JD Pamana Foundation and the Brgy.Captain of Landusan Hon.Santos Domingo , and an inspirational message and words of God from Pastor Almar Alegre.
A total of 228 medical patients were served,
94 patients received dental services, and
25 patients had laboratory test.
The Foundation also gave medicine supplies to District School Clinic , Brgy. Sawang Health Center , Landusan Elementary School , RHMPP Landusan , Rural Health Unit Capul , Sagaosawan Elementary School and Victory Christian Church Linungsuran Sawang.
Mayor Isidro Bandal of Capul was also present during the medical mission.
