Based on a survey made by the Department of Education cited that one of the reason why students don not attend school is because of the lack of school supplies they need for learning.
As one of the foundations mission is to carry out programs to foster education, JD Pamana Foundation through the “Adopt a School Program” of the Department of Education launched it’s educational program of giving of school supplies.
JD Pamana staffs prepared the supplies for the students that consists of set of notebooks, pens, crayons, pads and others that they may use for the whole school year.
The event and turnover of the school supplies was witnessed by members of the Foundation led by Mr. Dan de los Reyes and Ms. Julie Parungao together with Talon National High School Principal Ms. Liberty M. Flores. Incoming sophomore, junior and senior students gladly accepted their school supplies.
