Last October 14, 2014, the Department of Education’s Adopt a School Program held its Annual Partner’s Appreciation at the Meralco Multi Purpose Hall, Meralco Compound, Ortigas, Pasig City.
With its theme ” Ensuring Quality Education through Partnership”, where they recognized various infrastructure and non-infrastucture organizations that supported the programs of DepEd. These support programs includes nationwide feeding programs, classrooms construction, school facilities constructions, school aid kits and trainings.
Mr. Mario Deriquito, DepEd Undersecretary for Partnerships and External Linkages, thanked the various private companies who supported DepEd especially in those areas that have been strucked by various calamities.
Bro. Armin Luistro, DepEd Secretary, also thanked the various private institutions for sharing the same aspirations and dreams of DepEd.
JD Pamana Foundation, Inc., in its commitment of uplifting Philippine education was also acknowledged. Students from Brgy. Tapuyan, Gasan, Marinduque were the recipients of the Foundations’ projects.
